What is the Week of Hope?

For the past 30 years, Maryhurst has gathered our most passionate advocates for a once-annual Journey of Hope Luncheon. Journey of Hope brings together our amazing staff, alumni from our programs, our organizational partners, and individual supporters for an hourlong celebration of Maryhurst's vital work in the community.

When we learned that convening a large crowd would be impossible this year, we quickly began thinking of ways to meaningfully recreate - and build upon - the inspiring program typical of Journey of Hope. Enter Maryhurst's first-ever Week of Hope: a series of client stories, staff testimonials, and other virtual moments that will roll out on this space daily from Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 2.

We invite you to visit this page or our other online outlets (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to participate in the celebration!

Additionally, we're asking supporters who are able to create their own personal fundraising link right here on Givegab that will allow them to personalize their support of our mission and invite their friends and family to help meet a donation goal.

Thank you, sponsors!

About the Organization

At Maryhurst, our vision is communities free of abuse and filled with hope for every child and family.'

Maryhurst is a place of new beginnings for children who have been traumatized by unimaginable abuse. Founded by the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in 1843, Maryhurst is the oldest behavioral health services organization in Kentucky.

Maryhurst's continuum of care provides a wide range of expert clinical, educational, and health/wellness services that appropriately serve children during various stages of their treatment needs. Our programs include an intensive campus-cased residential treatment program, two community-based treatment homes, transitional living and aftercare for foster youth, and outpatient & in-home counseling services.

Maryhurst is saving lives and strengthening families every day through education, therapy, life-skills training, and health and wellness. Please help us continue our mission and vision.
