The Martin J. Sherwin Fellowship in Nuclear Age History will support scholars working on biographical projects in nuclear age science, politics and diplomacy. The fellowship honors Martin Sherwin (1937-2021), a pioneer of nuclear age history who co-authored the Pulitzer Prize-winning American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.
The Fellowship honors Marty's commitment to mentoring young scholars and using biography as a lens to understand this critical period in history.
Gifts made in support of the Fellowship will be matched as part of the Leon Levy Center's Endowment Campaign.
