Mark J. Koziel C.P.A. '91 Accounting Scholarship

A fundraising campaign for Canisius University

Mark J. Koziel, ’91 CPA, CGMA, will receive the Dr. Joseph R. Coppola ’40 Award during the 61st annual Canisius College Accounting Society Banquet on Thursday, April 27 at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens.  The Coppola award recognizes the exceptional achievement of a Canisius accounting alumnus.

Koziel, a 1991 alumnus of the Canisius College Accounting Program, is executive vice president of firm services at AICPA.  He speaks on CPA issues around the country and is frequently named among the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today.   

Recently, Koziel established the Mark J. Koziel ’91 CPA, CGMA Accounting Scholarship at Canisius. The scholarship will provide annual scholarship grants to deserving accounting students from Western New York who have completed their freshman year at the college.
