Make A Splash at Stewart Park!

We're building a bigger, better, interactive & accessible splash pad!

A fundraising campaign for Friends of Stewart Park

Do you remember playing in the Stewart Park Splash Pad?

Will your children have this as a fond memory?

The fountain is nearly 70 years old and ready for an overhaul so the next generation can make more memories.

Friends of Stewart Park is raising $25,000 toward the cost of the new splash pad.

The new design will feature a flush accessible surface, timed shut off, push button start, interactive fountains and overhead sprinklers, and an embedded mural of the Finger Lakes.

Make a Splash.

Make a Memory.

About the Organization

Friends of Stewart Park

Ithacans are incredibly fortunate to have the beautiful public park overlooking Cayuga Lake. Now, the Friends of Stewart Park and the City of Ithaca, with generous support from the Park Foundation and the community, are leading an effort to revitalize and enhance the park for its Centennial Celebration on July 4, 2021. Key projects include creating a new and inclusive playground and sprayplay area, and revitalizing the historic core by restoring the Picnic Pavilion, creating the Wharton Studio Museum and Park Visitor Center and making Renwick Plaza, a performance plaza with lake overlook between the pavilions.
