Northeast Community Fund 1969-2024: 55 Years of Being the HEART of Decatur!

For the last 55 years, the Northeast Community Fund relies on the help from our community and neighbors to support our operations. Your gift of hope and love shines brightly on the lives of the neediest members Decatur and Macon County at times when they need help the most.

At this time, more than ever, Northeast needs you. We need your help as we enter into our 55^th year. Our annual “Love Thy Neighbor” campaign has a goal of raising $50,000 on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. From 6 a.m.-6 p.m. we will be accepting donations of food and items in our facility located at 839 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. During this day we encourage you and members of our community to rally together to donate. As you may know, this February includes “leap day.” Take the leap of love and assist us.

Those who donate 50 pounds of food, $55 cash or $55 worth (with receipt) of items receive half dozen cookies from Giggles.

So give a heart to the HEART of Decatur and Macon County to the Northeast Community Fund so we can be here for another 55 years!
