The Serving Center is assisting 1,100 households every month with food, clothing, furniture, community gardens,
Computers for Kids, and financial assistance for rent, utilities, prescriptions, transportation, and temporary lodging.  The Serving Center caseload increased by 6% in 2018.  People getting food from a food pantry aren't the people you think.  These are low-income working families who struggle to make ends meet.   Our goal is to help them through a financial crisis by keeping the utilities turned on and by providing food for their children.  These are elderly people who worked their entire lives and struggle on a fixed income.  Our goal is to provide nourishing food, prescription assistance, and help with rent and utilities to keep them living at home.   Our community is blessed to have a place for indigent families to go when they need help getting back on their feet.
