Lock Haven Sport Management Club

Lock Haven's Sport Management Club has partnerships all over the country that open doors to high-impact, resume-building professional opportunities that students need to rapidly gain high-level employment in the sports industry upon earning their degrees. Over the years, hundreds of Lock Haven students have attended spectacular, lifechanging events like:

• The Super Bowl
• The World Cup
• The NCAA Football National Championship
• The NCAA Final Four
• The NBA and NFL Drafts
• The F1 Miami Grand Prix
• And more...

While participation in the Sport Management Club grants students access to these amazing experiences, the average out-of-pocket expense for interested students is about $600. Sadly, this makes reaping the rewards of these momentous professional experiences unaffordable and unattainable for most students.

With the more than 50 students participating in the Sport Management Club each year, on average only about 1/4 of the club's members are able to afford participating in these events that undoubtedly set them apart from their job market competitors. No one knows the value of these exciting opportunities better than alumni of the Sport Management who have experienced these unbelievable opportunities firsthand. That's why current students are seeking your help!

How to Make a Difference!

Sport Management graduate assistant, and current club president, Austin Melius '24, is seeking support from proud alumni in the Sport Management community to help the club raise $5,000 before Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 9, 2025) to help create more opportunities for club members to have access to future high-impact sports world experiences.
