Lucky Orphans would like to introduce you to Lily

Lily is a Silver Dapple Miniature horse mare, born in 1998. She came to live at Lucky Orphans in 2013, with her entire family! Here at the farm she is still living with her daughter, Carmella, and the three other minis that she was bonded with.

Lily and her family came from Pawling, when their owners' children didn't want them anymore, and weren't spending the necessary time with them. When the mini herd arrived, they kicked, reared and avoided being caught.

Today, Lily is one of our beloved therapy ponies and sees human children suffering from grief and loss of a parent, or sexual trauma. She has visited malls, schools, and everything in between! She loves traveling and will go anywhere to help people who need her.
