What do tea and small business have in common? Not much, you’d think, but at Launch SA we help ideas come to business reality through our programming and partnerships. Take Sara and Olivia Hinojosa, the team behind Honeysuckle Tea Time-- a tea party catering and event planning business, based in San Antonio. Sara is a graduate of Launch SA’s Break Fast and Launch, a culinary accelerator aimed to support food industry growth in San Antonio. She was also a finalist in the 2016 Venture Challenge.
Sara was inspired to create her tea party business after realizing the lack of creative party options in San Antonio. Her idea was nourished by the Break Fast and Launch program, which allowed her to test the concept, meet mentors, and learn from others; Launch SA provided just what she needed to enter the food and drink scene.
The sisters teamed up to officially open Honeysuckle Tea Time in 2016, and soon started a craze for their infused milkshake pop-up events. Check them out on Instagram or their feature video on Kens 5.
