"The Ithaca Free Clinic saved my life..."
Angelica, worked in food service and had no health insurance. She was sick but continued to work hoping her illness would pass. When Angelica started coughing up blood, a friend who volunteers at the Ithaca Free Clinic urged her to come in for a free examination. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, given a prescription for antibiotics, and provided with a doctor's note requiring her to stay home for a week so she could rest and recover.
This year the Ithaca Free Clinic celebrates 10 years of providing free medical and holistic health care to our community. With the support of community members like you, the Free Clinic has helped over 8000 uninsured and under-insured members of our community just like Angelica.
