Ithaca Community Fireworks 2018

Mayor Svante Myrick spearheaded the efforts to bring this important community celebration back to the City of Ithaca for the July 4th holiday in 2012. Ithaca Rotary is proud to continue the tradition in 2018.

“I worked hard to bring the fireworks back because Independence Day has always been my favorite holiday. It’s one night where every family – no matter where you live, how much money you make, or what your political beliefs are – can come together and look up at the same shared night sky. It’s a celebration of our Country’s independence, and a celebration of our entire community” said Myrick.
