Ithaca Ballet Alumni 2017 Summer Camp Scholarship

A fundraising campaign for Ballet Guild Of Ithaca Inc

Alumni-funded scholarship to 2017 Ithaca Ballet Summer Camp for a student or students from communities that have historically been under-represented in ballet.

Hello Ithaca Ballet Alumni!

We are so happy you found us!

As some of you may know, the Ithaca Ballet now has several alumni serving on its Board of Directors:

  • Teresa Lynn Dodge
  • Amy Walker O’Brien
  • Lindsey Staley

As alumni ourselves, one important goal that we have is to grow our Alumni network and reconnect with our “long-lost” dancers across the generations and through our more than 50-year history!

What better way to reconnect than for us to give back to the organization that gave us so much and to develop the next generation of dancers!

So, what’s happening?

We are developing an Ithaca Ballet alumni-funded scholarship for the 2017 Ithaca Ballet Summer Dance Program and we are looking for YOUR help!

What’s the goal?

  • $1000 by June 19, 2017 which funds one full 6-week camp scholarship

Scholarship Details:

  • One 6-week scholarship to the 2017 Ithaca Ballet Summer Dance Program
  • First preference will be to students from communities which have been historically underrepresented in ballet
  • Students should use the 2017 Tuition Scholarship Application in the 2017 Ithaca Ballet Summer Registration Package to apply for this scholarship
  • Recipient will be decided by the Artistic Director and Board of Directors
  • We would love to hear from you if you know of a deserving dancer or if you’d like to help with fundraising!

How can you help?

Donate right here!  Every dollar helps us get one step closer to providing a deserving student with a fantastic summer of ballet training, performing, and life-long friendship!

Anything else?

We want to hear from you!  We would love to know what you have been up to since leaving the Ithaca Ballet – dance related or otherwise! Our alumni updates are always a Newsletter favorite!
