It Only Takes One. To say, today I will be the difference. You may work in an office in the Loop, a school on the west side or commute in from the suburbs. As Chicagoans, we’ve all heard the headlines about our city and you may have felt as if ..”I’m only one… what can I do?”  What if this time, you tried to reach out instead of turning away.  Make a new connection and try something new this one time.  The one to say this is my city and it isn’t those kids it is our kids.  We believe you’re pretty amazing and one of our All-Stars will know it the minute they see you. 

It Only Takes One. To change the trajectory of a life. At After-School All-Stars, we like to ask our students, staff, and volunteers, “When was your moment?”   The moment you realized you were good at something.  And then that something turned into your hobby, sport, or career but it changed your life and how you viewed yourself in the world.  After-School All-Stars works every day to not only ensure the safety of our kids during the after school hours but to ensure that every kid gets their moment.  To move the needle and provide those moments where something happens.

Join us and be the one.   We are looking for the one who is ready to step up and helps us create a place where kids can explore new opportunities and get ready for the future, learn what means to be healthy, discover a new career path, and be empowered to help their communities.  We are looking for the one who remembers their moment and knows what it can bring.
