"IMAGINE" A Home For The Homeless!

Help us with an opportunity to purchase a facility that will help us to ensure future housing for homeless families in North Idaho.

A fundraising campaign for Bonner County Homeless Task Force, Inc

Did you know that the majority of homeless in Bonner County are families with children?

Bonner Homeless Transitions has been serving these families and homeless single women for over 25 years! Our Blue Haven facility typically runs full with a waiting list and we have been fortunate enough to be able to rent the house next door for many years to expand our service in town. The time has come and owner of that house is ready to let it go.  We have always wondered what we would do it if the owner sold it. This house offers 2 of the largest apartments in our program and it is the home of our play yard.  We serve anywhere from 15-25 children with their parents at Blue Haven and these 2 apartments have been vital to our service.

Guess what!! The owner wants to sell it to us! She has watched us work our program for 14 years and has offered it to us for $100,000!!!! The purchase of this house will ensure a housing option for the most vulnerable of the homeless. Located within city limits it is close to services, schools and employment.

We are not just a shelter we are a hand up to our neighbors experiencing hard times. We provide a safe place for children and their parents traumatized by homelessness. We provide supportive service for parents to get them on their feet and help them find permanent housing.

We need your help!

Help us purchase a house for the homeless!
