Hungry no more

We are all getting older everyday.  We all see it and feel it...perhaps like me some grey hairs and aches and pains that surely were not there five or ten years ago.  But, I am blessed.  I am generally healthy and I have a wonderful family and I can get up and go somewhere whenever I please.  The reality is that for many of or neighbor seniors this is not the case.  Many of our senior neighbors live alone, are home bound and are living in poverty often times having to choose between purchasing food or paying for medication.  This is where Meals on Wheels of Williamson and Burnet Counties steps in.  We provide hot, fresh meals 5 days a week , 52 weeks a year to our senior neighbors who are home bound.  We provide more than a meal, but also a well check and additional support.  Our meal delivery and visit by a caring volunteer  may be for many of our seniors the only human interaction they have during the day.  We need to continue this critical service and I ask you to help me.  Please make a donation to MEALS ON WHEELS OF WILLIAMSON AND BURNET COUNTIES during Amplify Austin and share with your friends and colleagues this amazing opportunity to help our senior neighbors.  Thank you.
