Home Sweet Home Dessert Auction

Because every child deserve a home sweet home. :)

Note: This is the page for the dessert auction only for Home Sweet Home.  If you want details on the October 1 event, tickets, or to participate in the silent auction, visit this event page.

Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis is more than a homeless shelter for children and their families.  It's a path to housing for 89% of guests that enter our doors.

The Dessert Auction: This campaign replaces our annual in-person dessert auction, but all that deliciousness is not lost!  Traditionally, tables bid against each other for the rights to pick dessert first at our event.  This year, the "bidding" is one month long leading up to October 1.  Tables are replaced by team fundraising pages for your congregation, your company, or other group.  Instead of picking out dessert, the winning team gets the inaugural Cake Trophy.

Choose the team you want to support from the list below or to the right, and give on their page.  If you click above to donate without going to a team page, you will be supporting the campaign but not an individual team's goal.

Remember, when you support Family Promise, you support these beliefs:

  • That families should never be split apart when in crisis.  That is the promise of our name.
  • Making every dollar count, by utilizing a network of 1,500 volunteers.
  • Being lasting change, as 83% of our families do not re-enter any Indy shelter (measured at 2 years out).
  • Interfaith cooperation, like our 60 congregation partners uniting across all faiths to not let children be homeless.
  • Addressing systems that contribute to homeless, as our organization helped lead the fight for tenants' rights last legislative session.

When COVID-19 began, Family Promise was blessed to not just maintain capacity, but expand when families needed us most.  Now we need you to ensure that when that mom of twins calls tomorrow, or that dad and son, or any family in need, we can say, "Yes, we have space."

Thank you for your support.  Learn more at www.fpgi.org.
