Requesting General Program Support

Please consider donating to the Hispanic Leadership Development Foundation's general funds to help operate its various Leadership and Education programs.

The Hispanic Leadership Development Foundation hosts several esteemed programs that serve our core mission, which is to remove barriers of past discrimination in the San Antonio workforce and fill a void in the San Antonio community by providing a number of accessible and affordable activities, which are designed to target small, minority and women owned businesses and minority youth, who require education and support to become leaders in the San Antonio community. The Foundation also educates participants on policy issues affecting the civic and economic well-being of the community and create a larger pool of knowledgeable, skilled and active leaders.

Below are the programs hosted annually with a brief description of their purpose.

The program provides a highly personal experience that is tailored to help each Latina Leader cultivate skills that have never before been taught in one single program, with facilitators including local community and political leaders. The Latina Leadership Institute also provides a safe environment for learning and skill practice. Highly qualified facilitators provide participants with the personal insight and perspectives that will help them unlock their leadership potential and refine key leadership skills needed to achieve impactful, tangible results throughout their political career.

The mission of the Alexander Briseño Leadership Development Program (ABLDP) is to enrich leadership and professional development through strategic planning, change management, teamwork, sustainability, and civic engagement.  Participants engage in an experience that builds and enhances personal and professional leadership skills. The program curriculum provides participants with the aptitude to meet the intellectual and often emotional demands of leadership.
