Hearts of The Homeless’ primary goal is to divert homeless women from the street and into housing and homeless programs wherein the ultimate goal is to achieve permanent housing.
Hearts of The Homeless; (Helping Others Home) is a 501(c) 3 not for profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless women.
Mission: Hearts of The Homeless is dedicated to ending homelessness.
Purpose: to prevent, reduce and end homelessness by providing emergency shelter that leads to long–term housing.
Vision: Hearts of The Homeless is devoted to ending chronic homelessness within Allegheny County, The City of Pittsburgh and surrounding branching communities within the 5 years plan along with its community partners

Sometimes life throws you curves. Or, sometimes you just get off on the wrong foot. Either way, the only thing to do is start over from the beginning.
At any given time, there are hundreds of homeless women in Allegheny County. Much more are living on the edge. Maybe they made foolish choices. Maybe they hit a streak of bad luck. Or, maybe no one ever taught them or taught their parents, how to get life right in the first place. At this point, it doesn't matter why or how it happened. What matters is that the rest of us have what it takes to give them a fresh start. Please give today!
