Help us Complete the Purchase of the Historic KFXD Building!
As you have heard, The History of Idaho Broadcasting Foundation has made a down payment of $25,000.00 and has entered into a two-year contract to purchase the former KFXD studio and offices at 1024 12th Avenue South in Nampa. We have until December of 2019 to raise the remaining $225,000.00 needed to “pay-off” the building. Our goal is to own the building outright, with no mortgage, and to transform it into the Idaho Broadcasting History Museum and Education Center. Our extensive research of similar museums has taught us that making any investment into a building that is not completely ours, is a mistake we are not going to make! For that reason, it is essential that we raise the needed funds and make this “dream” a reality. We sincerely appreciate the many individuals who have already donated. We are in the process of getting the building listed as a “historic” landmark, which then allows us to apply for Historic Preservation Grants, which we are in the process of doing.
