Quarantine pens are a necessary for any rescue... We use them for new intakes to monitor and adjust them to a new place, but we also use them for equines that need medical care and special attention.

Right now RR has one of these pens, which Snoopy our resident blind equine resides in. We are in need of a couple more for when new horses come in. This gives us a safe place to access them and gives us time to decide the best place for them at the stables.

We are looking to build 2 additional pens. 20 foot wide, 40ft deep. They will need shelters as well from the wind and rain. The costs run from the weather treated posts, to the flex board fencing from Ramm fence, to the shelters themselves. The estimates are coming in at about 2500 for each pen. This does not include the labor or machinery to put in the posts etc.. We will rely on volunteers for that.
