Meet Petie, he's a miniature poodle mix who hasn't had the best of luck lately. He currently has an itchy skin condition called Sarcoptic Mange. Unfortunately it has caused him to loose a lot of his cute curly fur! He wound up at the shelter in this condition and as you can imagine, arriving in this condition to a shelter where there is an abundance of abandoned dogs, there is not much hope for a future.
Things were looking pretty dim for the little guy at first but we are so excited to have him in our rescue now and offer him hope for a brighter future! Although many people may overlook a dog in such a condition, we at CARE believe that Petie deserves to have a second chance at life.
We are determined to raise $1,000 to cover Petie's medical care and the boarding he will need and get this pooch his curly do back so he can find a forever home!
