What is EIF Scholars?
The purpose of EIF Scholars is to provide high performing, primarily first-generation under-represented students with the opportunity to participate in a program that expands their options for furthering their education and making positive college and career choices.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Selection Requirements:
•Be a student at an EIF campus
•Scholars Have a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
•Scholars are in the Top 25% of their class
•Scholars have completed sophomore or junior year successfully with at least (2) AP Courses
•Submit EIF Scholar Application
Scholars commit to:
•Visit at least two universities
•Complete and submit 10 university applications
•Apply for FAFSA/TASFA
•Complete and submit multiple scholarship applications
•Complete 20+ hours of community service

•Leadership development workshops
•Community service support
•Peer-to-peer guidance
•Parent involvement
•College and career planning software access
•Application assistance for tier 1 research, liberal arts, and ivy league institutions
•Scholarship awareness and preparation
•Critical college enrollment assistance/ college integration activities
•Financial aid assistance
•Evening with the Stars scholarship ceremony in the spring
