April 26th to May 4th, Doctors Rousso and Ransom. HTCNE's second Cleft mission to Ica, consisted of 33 members, 8 of whom are new to HTCNE. They screened 89 children and completed 78 procedures on 54 patients. The value of the donated medical services: $298,800.00. Buhler Speech team—Consisted of 4 members, 2 of whom are new to HTCNE. They screened 84 children and completed 78 procedures on 77 patients. The value of the donated medical services: $6,300.00 / Consults, workshops and lectures donated: $2,700.00 / supplies donated: $750.00. The value of the donated services: $9,750.00.
2015 Medical Trip to Ica, Peru
April 25th to May 4th. Led by Doctors Rousso and Ransom. HTCNE's second Cleft mission to Ica! The team consisted of 6 members, 2 of whom are new to HTCNE. They screened 15 children and completed 9 procedures on 9 patients. The value of the donated medical services provided: $38,000.00 / supplies in-kind: $7,000.00. The value of donated services: $45,000.00. Berkowitz Speech Team— The value of the donated medical services: $4,800.00 / Consults, workshops and lectures services donated: $900.00. The total of donated services: $ 5,700.00.
2015 Dental Trip to Iquitos, Peru - Amazon Villages
March 12th to March 21st. Dental trip led by Dr. Greg Keiser. Remote locations. The team visited villages around the Amazon River and screened 224 patients while providing services to 206 patients. In-Kind Dental Services of $128,780 with donated supplies valued at $7,500.
2015 Medical Trip to Cartagena, Columbia
February 4th to February 14th. Dr. Gilmans 16th trip with HTCNE! This team of 20 members (9 new) screened 132 patients and operated on 56. The value of In-Kind donated services were $189,130 with a donation of supplies valued at $60,000.
2015 Medical Trip to Santa Cruz, Bolivia
January 24th to January 31st. Dr. Roser led his 3rd trip to Santa Cruz, Bolivia to provide free cleft surgery to children. This team of 23 medical professionals (10 new members) and the dental team component of 5 with (4 new members) provided screening to 112 surgical patients while operating on 54. The Dental Team provided services to 302 patients. Surgical team In-Kind services were $181,900 and the Dental Team services were valued at $50,000. Donated supplies were valued at $145,000 for both teams. It was great to work with both teams!
