The Headache Alliance is excited to announce a groundbreaking installation which aims to visually and emotionally depict the vast impact that headache and migraine disorders have on over 40 million Americans. Thousands of flags will cover the National Mall Park near the nation’s Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. in representation of those affected by this disease.
As the first large-scale display of its kind for headache and migraine advocacy, it will serve as a hallmark event for the headache community, created in partnership with multiple headache organizations and taking place during the month of June, Migraine and Headache Awareness Month.
Informational signage accompanied by QR codes will tell compelling stories and provide actionable steps for visitors of the display, enhancing public engagement and encouraging advocacy through a micro-website. A large-scale speak-out event will happen at the installation featuring influential speakers to further raise awareness and encourage meaningful action.
You have the opportunity to be part of this historic initiative that aims to transform public perception and policy regarding headache disorders. We can only do this with your financial support!

We're Over Half Way to Funded!
March 3, 2025
Dear Supporter,
We have incredible news: thanks to supporters like you, we are more than halfway funded for the National Mall Installation on Migraine & Headache Disorders! Your generosity and dedication have helped bring us to this moment, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
But we’re not done yet.
To make this project as impactful as possible—to ensure that migraine and headache disorders can no longer be ignored—we need your help to reach the finish line before June 1st. Every dollar raised brings us closer to making this powerful, first-of-its-kind installation a reality.
Can you help us push through these final months by making a donation or encouraging others to give? Whether it’s a personal contribution, sharing your fundraising page, or asking friends and family to support this historic event, every action makes a difference.
Together, we are creating a moment that will demand attention and change. Let’s make sure we see it through.
With gratitude,
Julienne Verdi
