Please help me Head For a Cure by sponsoring team Brandon's Mom ride during the April 16, 2016 CycleBar Cyclethon. I don't want any other family to have to watch their "baby," spouse, parent, sibling, friend die of head and neck cancer. Brandon is my second baby and oldest son. He lived life to the fullest both before and after being diagnosed with a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the head and neck two weeks before his 36th birthday.
My husband and I, Brandon’s parents, launched the Brandon C. Gromada Head & Neck Cancer Foundation the day after his June 2, 2012 death. As healthcare professionals, we know only research can lead to the cures that will eliminate head and neck cancers. Brandon’s Foundation has awarded two research grants for innovative head and neck cancer projects each year since 2014. This June we hope to award two more grants.
