Habitat for Humanity Cornell Chapter 2024-2025

Building Affordable Housing with Cornell!

Habitat for Humanity Cornell Chapter is fundraising for the local affiliate, Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties, and our goal is to raise $2,500 to help local first-time homebuyers build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. All donations stay local and go towards the construction of Habitat homes. Cornell Habitat volunteers help build these homes, alongside local first-time homebuyers, directly addressing affordable housing in our community.

Habitat for Humanity of Tompkins and Cortland Counties is currently building four houses, all located three miles or less from our campus. The need for affordable homeownership opportunities in Ithaca, and throughout Tompkins County, is tremendous and right in our backyards. While we do our part to volunteer our time and help build these homes, your donations will also help fund the materials, equipment, and sub-contractors. We believe everyone deserves a decent place to live, and through collaboration we create lasting change--one house at a time.  Thank you for your support!
