SARA was founded in 1996 on the belief that the lives of all animals matter. In the 22 years since our inception, we have helped countless animals of all kinds.

We are committed to our mission of "unconditional life," giving as many animals as possible a chance to be healthy, happy, and free from harm.

Our 100 acre sanctuary is always in need of building and repairing. Our animals need to be safe and comfortable to live out their lives as happy and normal as they should.

We are currently working on the new cat building that will house cats, rabbits, and the infirmary. Although we have the building, the inside is completely empty. We have so many great ideas to make this cat building ideal for our feline residents, including a cat patio to let them go in and out as they please.

SARA would like to be able to host more visitors and volunteers by providing an updated sanctuary that accommodates our furry residents and the beautiful supporters like yourself.
