You'd have to be the most absolutely committed monk or hermit out there, to have not heard or seen what is happening to our country. 

Americans across the country are appalled at the way our country has been so masterfully divided and now run into the ground by people in power. But who says American citizens have to sit back and do nothing while meekly allowing our freedoms to be stripped away, and brave lives to be sacrificed? Who says we have to continue to allow ourselves to be silenced, while the world is led to believe Americans are now nothing more than puppets of a heartless, tyrannical government?

Many of us - like Barb Allen, who is a co-founder for this fund and campaign- have been made directly aware of what the true price of freedom is. Barb's husband, Lt Louis Allen, was killed in Iraq i n 2005. He never got to come home to her or their 4 boys who were just6,5,3, and 1 year old when their dad died.

Others -like Dave Brown, who is Barb's partner in this event and now in life as well- may not have served or lost someone they love in service to our country, but have developed an equally strong commitment to our country's core values.

Together, Dave and Barb have connected with and spotlighted hundreds of Americans  leading by example. Now they are bringing many of these Americans together in an event that will prove that We, the People of this country, are better than what our government is doing. 

This 2 day event on January 7-8 in Irving, Texas, will:

- Raise money to be given back to vetted organizations that support our military, law enforcement, first responders, and at-risk youth

- Bring hundreds of patriotic Americans together to connect, collaborate, and conquer challenges together- Welcome in new American citizens, and provide an American Dream builder package to at least one proud new American.

- Prove that American Patriots are the solution to our crisis, rather than the cause, as the media "reports"

We've managed to create this event  on a teeny budget, as far as huge events go. And we do have sponsors lining up to help fund it.  BUT- we don't just want to fund the event. We want to raise $150,000 to give back to those nonprofit organizations that do so much to strengthen and protect our families, communities, and our country. 

Because THAT'S what Americans do.
