'Tis the season to give thanks. Today, on Giving Tuesday, we want to thank YOU!
D'Youville alumni and community members understand the life-changing power of education. To ensure that as many students as possible have the same access to higher education that they had, our alumni has generously funded over 75 annual scholarships. Donor-Funded scholarships through the Fund for D’Youville are awarded based on various criteria, including financial need, academic performance, and community involvement.
For the 2020-2021 academic year, 258 eligible applicants were awarded $482,322 in Donor-Funded scholarships; that’s an average per-student award of $1,869. This funding goes a long way in helping to bridge the need gap and help students to finance their education. Scholarships are not renewable, but students are encouraged to apply year after year. 100% of eligible applicants received an award during the 2020-2021 scholarship cycle.
