#GivingTuesdayNow - Family Promise Morris County

We have seen a 30% increase in new households seeking services to stay afloat as we feel the increased effects of COVID on our economy and way of life.

           There are 181 Morris County families on the wait list for shelter as of April 28^th.

Many families and individuals have used whatever savings they may have had to survive and maintain shelter/housing over the last few weeks and we are starting to see the increase in assistance requests.

We know that the short and long term impacts will cause all the more need for our community of guests, volunteers and simply, our neighbors next door. Through  Shelter, Housing and Outreach Programs, FPMC provides resources, referrals, linkages and assistance to divert them from experiencing homelessness at each stage of the journey.

Much like the guests we serve, some of our volunteers and friends of Family Promise are experiencing new difficulties in paying their living expenses and even for food. We understand, and hope you adjust and move through this unprecedented time.
