Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement that celebrates all kinds of giving. This year, you can make #GivingTuesday have a local impact with a donation to help Austin neighbors experiencing homelessness.

On the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, our goal is to raise $4,000 – enough to feed 400 people a day for a full week a hot meal!

The Angel House Soup Kitchen is a human service organization of caring and loving people. It is the ministry of Austin Baptist Chapel.

We serve the poor who suffer from the lack of basic human needs: material needs, such as food,and clothing.

In order to serve as a positive factor healing force in the spirits and lives of needy individuals, the Soup Kitchen strives to provide encouragement  with respect and dignity. 

Every person who comes to us for a meal is welcomed, without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, religious preference, handicap or income.
