The Pass Along Project has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.
This year there are 2 ways you can support The Pass Along Project in their efforts to reach every child entering Foster Care in NH.
1.) Donate today – Just $30 provides a full starter wardrobe to a child entering Foster Care in NH. The “bundle” includes a full basic starter-wardrobe that includes over $300 worth of clothing.
2.) Help us Campaign – join our cause by starting your own campaign for The Pass Along Project here on GiveGab. Invite your friends to donate and start a campaign as well – together let’s help as many children in Foster Care as possible.
What We Do:
The project started in 2017 after the Founder discovered that children who enter Foster Care arrive with less than an hour notice, and come with nothing. And, while a Foster Family can plan ahead for most things a new arrival would need -- such as a toothbrush for example -- the one thing they can't plan on is CLOTHING. After all, how do you prepare without knowing whether the next child will be a 4 year old boy, or a 12 year old girl?
The Pass Along Project was developed to provide a starter-wardrobe of new and gently used clothing to children entering Foster Care in NH. Our method of pre-building complete clothing kits in every size and gender, allows us to deliver to Foster Parents within only a few hours in most areas. This year we delivered 325 clothing kits across the eastern side of NH (and counting). These kits totaled over 2,260 outfits – nearly 6,000 pounds of clothing and shoes. In 2020 we aim to expand services to the entire state. We greatly appreciate your support to help us reach all 1600 children expected to enter NH Foster Care each year.
