Giving Tuesday

We want to ensure every child in the community can access our programs — whether summer camps, school-day-out minicamps or other offerings through the year.

A fundraising event for Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy, Inc

Event Information

Help us deliver our youth programs to all during #GivingTuesday Nov. 30. Whether it’s our NBP Minicamps held on days school isn’t in session, or our NBP Rec Days! for children and families, or our highly anticipated — and very popular — NBP Summer Camps, children learn lifelong lessons on and off the water, including teamwork and friendship, as well as the skills of paddling, sailing, rowing, archery, fishing and more.

Your generosity will also impact our community programs for adults, which include the NBP Paddling Program and the NBP Community Rowing Program. Paddlers take to the water in dragon boat, kayak and outrigger canoe events, and our rowers in single sculls and larger boats. Many are graduates of our Learn To Row and Learn To Paddle programs! There are few better ways to bring people together in teamwork, friendship, wellness and even synchronization than our programs for adults. Among the dragon boat teams are segments for breast-cancer and all-cancer survivors, the new veterans paddling team and our community team that assembles both for recreational paddling and for competition.

We bring the community together for wellness, for recreation, for learning, for harmony and for fun. And we want to ensure no one is left out — which is possible with your help.

Thank you for supporting Nathan Benderson Park through your generosity. We look forward to seeing you at the park!
