An architectural feature characteristic of 2nd Empire design is the mansard roof with decorative iron cresting on top. Recently a piece of our cresting along the tower on the front of the mansion broke loose from its support and will need to be repaired. While we were able to safely get the piece down from the building thanks to W.L. Klines Construction, it will require the use of a lift to properly and safely put it back. It is also our intention to have all of the supports and bolts checked when the weather gets better and the cresting across the top of the mansion will soon need to be painted.
