Girls Inc. of NYC's Junior Board rocks! Thanks to their passion for our mission and commitment to making a difference, we receive financial support that help us bring academic and life-skills programs to girls living in the five boroughs of New York City.

Girls Inc. of NYC (GINYC) inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life- changing programs and experiences that help them navigate gender, economic, and social barriers.
We reach girls through partnerships with schools, city agencies, and community-based organizations to deliver programming during the school day and after school hours.
Research-based curricula, delivered by trained, mentoring professionals in a positive all-girls environment equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
In 2016 our programs reached 6,000 disadvantaged girls across multiple locations around the city ranging from Far Rockaway and East Harlem to Astoria, the South Bronx and Staten Island.
