Hockey is an expensive and often exclusive sport that is increasingly difficult to enter after early elementary school and nearly impossible to learn as an adult (especially for women, nonbinary and trans people, and folx of other marginalized genders).
We are women hockey players ages 25-75 who would like to make hockey accessible for people from historically excluded backgrounds in the sport. Some of us came up playing hockey as children, some of us learned in college, and some of us came to the sport as adults because hockey was not an option growing up. All of us love women's hockey and would like to help more non-traditional players enter the sport.
Your donation will support ice time, an equipment lending library for first time players & USA hockey registration costs for those who cannot afford it.
Help us leverage Ithaca's legacy of 50 years of girls hockey via TGHA!
