About the Event

The Furr Bowl is an annual fundraising event at Bemidji Bowl to support the work of Great River Rescue. Each year, individuals and groups register to bowl for two hours, while also conducting their own fundraising efforts. The top fundraising individuals and teams earn awesome prizes and are recognized for their efforts. The Furr Bowl is an important annual event which generally raises over $7,000 for shelter pets. 

This year's event is being held on April 19 from 1 to 3 pm at Bemidji Bowl. Registration is $25 and includes two hours of bowling, pizza, pop, and prizes. Once registered, participants are given their own fundraising page through our partner GiveGab. Pages can be edited to tell each participant's story as to why they believe in the cause of Great River Rescue. Then, you can share your page with family and friends seeking donations. Each donation gets us closer to our $8,000 goal and increases your chances of winning great prizes.

BEMIDJI, March 20, 2020 – Great River Rescue’s annual Furr Bowl fundraiser was scheduled for Sunday, April 19 from 1 to 3 pm at Bemidji Bowl. With the current public health emergency, the event will not be able to take place as originally planned. However, the Furr Bowl will proceed as an online fundraiser for the work of Great River Rescue. Those interested in participating can register for $25 and will receive an online fundraising page through our partner GiveGab. Participants then reach out to family and friends for support through their fundraising page. Top fundraisers will win specially designed bowling pins from the artists of Gallery North, and other great prizes.
