Fundraiser for Steve

Honor Steve Jackson's birthday with a gift in his honor

A fundraising campaign for Food Bank of the Southern Tier

For those of us who knew him from the Binghamton University Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program, we wanted to honor Steve Jackson's memory in an authentic way—Steve was a man of action, though incredibly subtle. Like many of us, he strongly believed in the importance of public service and supporting those nonprofit organizations that work tirelessly to improve their communities. Steve completed an internship at the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and continued working there as a volunteer—it indeed was a special place for him.

In memory of his 42nd birthday (January 8, 2017), we ask that you donate $41.00 to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier. Donations will be accepted throughout the month of January. All proceeds will support the Food Bank’s crucial programs and services.

Thank you for your contribution and as Steve would say, you ROCK!

About the Organization

Food Bank of the Southern Tier

The Food Bank team works daily to build and sustain hunger-free communities throughout the Southern Tier. We do so by acquiring and distributing more than 10 million pounds of food and grocery products to people in need through our network of 164 partner agencies including food pantries, meal programs, shelters and others across Broome, Chemung, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties. The Food Bank also administers direct service food programs including the BackPack Program™ and Mobile Food Pantry Program.

Vision: The Food Bank of the Southern Tier is committed to creating a future without hunger where access to healthy food by all is recognized as fundamental to the well-being and success of individuals and the foundation of a strong, vibrant society.

Every dollar makes a difference!
