For more than forty years, Little Sun People (LSP) has been a safe, loving, and culturally affirming early-learning environment in the heart of Brooklyn. Founded in 1980 in Bedford-Stuyvesant, LSP is one of New York’s longest-standing culturally centered preschools serving children with purpose and pride. Under the leadership of our alumna Executive Director, Mama Aaliyah, LSP continues the vision of our beloved founder, Mama Fela, and looks boldly ahead to the next generation. This year’s Annual Fund theme -Fund Black Futures -is both a promise and a plan to build on our legacy while shaping a future where our children see themselves as excellent.
