Friends of the Mosier Farmers Market are individuals, families, businesses and community organizations who believe that the Mosier Farmers Market is a vibrant and essential part of our community and wish to see it grow and thrive in 2018 and beyond!

Why should I become a "Friend of the Mosier Farmers Market?"
Vendor booth fees only pay for a portion of the cost of running the market. If the Mosier Farmers Market has been a benefit to you and you would like to see a wider range of vendors and activities, we ask that you consider becoming a Friend of the Market and support us with a donation. Every dollar goes directly toward covering costs of running the market.
In 2018, we plan to distribute about $750 in $2 tokens to youth shoppers at the market to purchase fruits or veggies from a local farmer, known as the POP (Power of Produce) Club. The Mosier Farmers Market matches the first $5 that SNAP (formerly know as 'food stamps') customers spend at the market to incentivize purchases at the market. Extra incentive funds for SNAP customers are expected to reach $500 in 2018. Funds raised through the "Friends of the Mosier Market" campaign will also be used to purchase promotional materials and supplies for fun market activities to encourage Gorge residents and tourists to visit our lovely town and support our local economy.

Donations are also accepted by cash or check at the Mosier Farmers Market information booth. Or send checks made to Gorge Grown Food Network to PO Box 752 Hood River, OR 97031 with "Mosier Market" in the memo line.
Don't forget to shop at the market- opening day is June 17th. The farmers market is open from 10am - 1pm, every Sunday through October 14th.
