Who We Are

The mission of Family Promise of Athens is to mobilize our community to help families in crisis situations of homelessness achieve sustainable independence. Together with a coalition of community partners and congregations provide shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance for families facing the crisis of homelessness. Our staff and volunteers assist families with finding sustainable housing, job training, employment, and meeting other needs to achieve independence. 

Golf Tournament Details

We use a four-person scramble format for our tournament. While you may register as an individual, we recommend bringing a foursome. If you are not on a team we will assign you to one. Prizes will be awarded to the team with the lowest gross score and three lowest net scores. We will also award prizes to individuals with the longest drive (men & women) and the shot that is closest-to-the-pin on all par 3’s. The lowest gross score will also be presented with the FPA permanent trophy which is returned each year by the previous champions.

EAGLE SPONSOR - $2,500. Includes prominent placement on all tournament materials & complimentary entry for a team of four golfers.

BIRDIE SPONSORS - $1,000. Includes name on tournament website and tee box as well as complimentary entry for two golfers.

PAR SPONSORS - $500. Includes name on tournament website and tee box as well as complimentary entry for two golfers.

HOLE SPONSOR - $300. Includes name on tournament website and tee box as well as complimentary individual golfer entry.

An individual fee of $150 covers 18 holes of golf, green fees, cart, lunch, and prizes. Mulligans* will be available for $15 each. Your mulligan ticket will be your entry into a drawing for prizes to be held during the post-tournament awards ceremony.
