FamilyFarmed's 2nd Birthday Fundraising Faceoff

Jim v. Bob... you can only choose one!!

A fundraising campaign for FamilyFarmed

It’s The 2nd Annual FamilyFarmed Birthday Fundraising Faceoff — Nov. 12-16, 2018!

Bob Benenson, FamilyFarmed's Communications Manager, celebrates his birthday on Nov. 14. Jim Slama... FamilyFarmed's CEO and founder... on Nov. 16. That makes them Scorpios. You know how Scorpios are. Passionate. Confident. Ambitious. Intense.

Jealous.

Last year, we channeled these competitive instincts for the betterment of FamilyFarmed. We created the FamilyFarmed Birthday Fundraising Faceoff to kick off our Annual Giving campaign. And this fun contest was such a hit that we're bringing it back for a second year! Double your impact with the Coleman Foundation Matching Gift -- any donation of $1,250 or more made through November 27, a.k.a. "Giving Tuesday," will be eligible for a $1,250 matching grant by the Coleman Foundation.

To promote fairness, there are actually two contests. One is who raises the most money; which Jim won handedly last year. The other is who attracts the most individual donations; Bob won this given his many generous friends with big hearts.

All proceeds from this "Scorpios in a bottle" battle will go toward advancing FamilyFarmed’s mission of helping create a better food system. We work with food and farm entrepreneurs who are producing as locally as possible, using sustainable, humane and fair practices, to help expand markets for delicious and nutritious Good Food.

Our broader year-end fundraising campaign continues through Giving Tuesday on Nov. 27 and then on through the end of the year.

Your greatly appreciated contributions will fund our vision of Good Food on Every Table.

Please make a contribution and cast a vote for your favorite! Remember, the real winners are farmers, entrepreneurs and #GoodFoodies like you!
