A fundraising event for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley

Event Information

Family Promise of Gallatin Valley  Capital Campaign
Expected completion date: December 2021

OUR VISION:

A centralized campus of child care, case management, expanded Day Center, and a variety of programs and services that will allow Family Promise of Gallatin Valley to serve more children and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Our mission is to create lasting solutions for families working hard to improve their lives and futures.

Obtaining childcare is a major issue for our families and many working families in the Gallatin Valley. Just last year, 70% of the families in our shelter program were led by single mothers. After paying for housing, there’s little left for childcare, food, and other essential expenses.

As a nonprofit dedicated to empowering families, there is no denying the immense, immediate, and lasting benefits of early childhood care. We believe that providing safe, affordable, high quality childcare is essential in our fight against family homelessness.

In addition, Family Promise remains the only year-round shelter option for homeless families in Gallatin Valley. With suppressed wages, lack of affordable housing, and the continued growth in Gallatin Valley we continue to see an increase in the number of families struggling with housing insecurities and homelessness. Just this year we have served 3x the number of families and have outgrown our current Day Center and office space.

To help address families experiencing homeless and the childcare needs they have, Family Promise is building a new two-story facility. Floor one will contain an early childhood learning center for infants and children from all economic backgrounds, but will prioritize placement for families experiencing homelessness and enrolled in one of our programs. Floor two will house the new Family Support Services Day Center allowing more families experiencing homelessness to work extensively with our case managers – applying for jobs, cooking meals, washing clothes, and spending quality time together as a family.

We have broken ground on this new facility, but we still need your help. We are short of our capital campaign goal and are relying on your support to help us fund this project to completion. We sincerely appreciate and thank you for your support.
