Eli: On The Road To Recovery

Support HSWM foster puppy Eli as he recovers from an emergency surgery.

A fundraising campaign for Humane Society of Western Montana

Meet Eli!

Eli is a happy 12-week-old puppy! He was born in a loving HSWM foster home. While there were eight puppies in his litter, Eli's personality has always stood out; he's an extremely social and friendly pup!

When he was about 8-weeks-old Eli started showing some unusual symptoms, and was just not himself. He was lethargic, and seemed sick.

X-rays and blood work led to an emergency surgery. The surgery revealed Eli had bladder stones which are typically unheard of in puppies. The source of those stones is still unknown.

Event post-surgery Eli's happy, friendly personality remains. He's currently recovering from his surgery in a foster home, taking antibiotics and has a special diet.

We're seeking funds to cover the costs of Eli's emergency medical needs, future testing and medications.

Outside of his medical needs and monitoring, Eli is living a happy life. He's crate-trained, potty-trained, loves walks and is extremely playful! He would do best in a home with another dog who'd like to play. Those interested in learning more about his needs and possible adoption should contact Nicole at [email protected]
