CSI Library

A New Way Forward

A fundraising campaign for College of Staten Island

The Library is the heart and soul of our campus, whether in person or remotely. Although our facility is temporarily closed, the CSI Library continues to meet the needs of our community with access to electronic resources, a suite of online tutorials, and 24/7 chat reference service. With your help, we can rise to this moment in the life of our College.

A donation, of any amount, will provide essential resources to purchase e-books, which are necessary to support:

-24/7 access to curricular and research materials

-student learning and success

-faculty scholarship

The pandemic continues to impact the shape of the fall 2020 semester. At a time when we are finding a new way forward, the CSI Library will remain a dedicated resource for our campusone that has been here, physically and virtually, to help our community access information and scholarly sources reliably and equitably.

About the Organization

College of Staten Island

For 65 years, the College of Staten Island and its predecessor institutions, Staten Island Community College and Richmond College, have been a bedrock of public higher education for Staten Islanders, our fellow New York City residents, and beyond. Today, we celebrate a tradition of providing affordable access to a college degree for more than 14,000 students, many of whom are the first in their family to go to college, working one or more jobs, and are first-generation immigrants who are pursuing their dream of a college education.
