The Coyote Brotherhood – 10-Year Anniversary Fund Drive
For the past 10 years, the Coyote Brotherhood has proudly stood together to support Coyote Football. What began as a group of former players committed to giving back has grown into a decade-long tradition of loyalty, fellowship, and purpose.
This year marks our 10-year anniversary, and we want to make it truly special. Our goal for 2025 is $105,000, every dollar of which will go directly to the Coyote Football Excellence Fund.
The mission of the Brotherhood this year is clear:
Support Coyote Football Player Retention – keeping our players in Vermillion, strengthening the program, and building on the foundation of excellence that has defined Coyote Football for generations.
As part of this milestone year, we also pause to remember and honor two of our brothers who have recently passed:
- Larry Hultgren #43
- Jeff Kuecker #51
Their legacy on the field and in life continues to inspire us all.
We invite you to join us in celebrating 10 years of Brotherhood and making an impact that lasts well beyond the season. Together, we can hit our goal and ensure that Coyote Football remains strong for the next generation of players...Thank You!!!

Who is the Coyote Brotherhood?
The Coyote Brotherhood has spent the last 10 years promoting fun, fellowship, camaraderie and the continuation of the family of Coyote Football Alumni ”The Brotherhood.“ Our Prayer Team and Advisory Team have become some of our biggest assets all to support Coyote Football Alumni. Doing numerous “Acts of Kindness” for coyote football alumni around the country. In addition, we have raised over $650,000 dollars in support of the USD Football Program
Mission Statement
The Coyote Brotherhood's Mission is to create a network of support to help former Coyote Football Players advance in their careers and help when life's challenges come along.
Creating a social network focused on supporting the “Bond” between former football players of all years. Leveraging our resources to support The University of South Dakota Football Program to achieve mutually agreed upon goals and objectives.
