The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler provides supports and services to nearly 1,200 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism in the Chemung and Schuyler County region. 

As an essential business, our staff are working harder than ever right now to provide meaningful, and safe, activities for the people we support. Additionally, we are continuing to provide supports to people who live independently, right in our community. 

Our resources are stretched and our funding has been impacted. Our expenditures have increased to include the purchase of Personal Protective Equiment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, sanitizes, etc. to ensure that our staff and the people we support are safe. And, we are trying hard to recognize and reward our front line essential staff, to include Direct Support Professionals, nurses, and bus drivers, who are tirelessly  working to ensure all needs are met.

The support of our community is truly critical right now. 

The Arc has a limited supply of masks to provide more safety and security in our homes. If you’re willing, and able, to make some masks for us, we would be grateful. Please email us if you are interested in doing so.
