A fundraising campaign for Animal Rescue Group of Northern Nevada

We are a group of individuals that have come together for the common purpose of addressing and dealing with the very difficult reality of rapidly growing populations of abandoned and feral animals in our communities. Last year was busy, it was eventful and it was exciting…Here are some of the highlights.  We adopted out 97 kittens and cats which is awesome! This was in large a result of our partnering with PetSmart where we showcased lots of our fosters in-store in Carson City and found amazing forever homes for so many. Thank you PetSmart! In June our TNR program was expanded to include Nevada Humane Society, Carson City, largely thanks to the wonderful team at the Lyon County Animal Shelter in Silver Springs. 92 felines were spayed/ neutered in addition to the year total of 83 at NHS, Reno. Another 34 were TNR’d at our special local quarterly clinics.   Hundreds of pets in Fernley and along the Hwy 50 corridor were provided food on a regular basis. We are so honored to be able to help to feed the pets of needy families and seniors through the generous donations of both dog and cat food that we receive. A big shout out to our volunteers who make this possible! We have a brand new website! www.argonn.org, which just got an exciting new and updated look. The adoptables page has already led to more than one happy adoption! Let’s make 2018 even better still! Vanessa Stuart—President
