The CWC is a group of volunteers from the local community who help families having trouble paying their utility bills to manage their home energy and water use, and save money!
We train volunteers to spend a couple of hours working with residents in their homes, learning together about how to manage energy and water usage and costs. This helps people to be able to stay in their homes, especially older homes that use more energy, and puts more money back into people’s pockets as they learn to manage their utilities better.
We've helped over 750 families throughout Alachua County since 2008, saving thousands of kilowatt hours and gallons of water and invite you to help us help more!
