Community Closet Fund

A fundraising campaign for Hamdard Healthcare

Help Hamdard support our patients impacted by the Pandemic. Donations will go towards purchasing essential household items in our Community Closet.

Hamdard's Community Closet provides essential household goods to patients who come to our Addison, Illinois clinic. The closet serves as a a stop gap to get patients through the next couple days after their appointment. We focus on hygiene products like shampoo, body wash and deodorant since they are not available to purchase using public benefits.

By donating to our Community Closet, you will help us fill the needed gaps in the items we have available to our patients who need them most.  Items like diapers and feminine hygiene products are in great demand at the moment and your donation will help close a gap in products available for our patients.

Hamdard Healthcare has been providing hope, help and healing to the Chicagoland community for nearly 30 years.  Community-focused care is provided in a warm setting, allowing patients to feel comfortable and empowered to improve their health.  We have been on the forefront of combating COVID-19 in our community by providing telemedicine services, testing and vaccinations.  More than just looking out for our community's health, we seek to promote the well-being of all patients that come through our doors.

About the Organization

Hamdard is a healthcare and supportive service provider rooted in Chicagoland’s diverse communities. We believe patients receive the best care when their providers understand their cultural background and experiences. That’s why our staff speaks up to 10 languages spoken by patients and has a deep appreciation for their diverse backgrounds. Community-focused care is provided in a warm setting, allowing patients to feel comfortable and empowered to improve their health. Our supportive programs offer an empathetic approach to community members facing a variety of challenges, from a domestic violence crisis to obstacles related to aging.
